If in this conflict you decided to support Amita your job will be to take over the opium factory. Head to the place marked on your map and once you will pass the checkpoint you will enter an extensive yellow area. From now on you need to move carefully. Next to the first house you will meet an enemy who stands still. Use the opportunity and kill him quietly. Now you may head towards left where few steps after the small stairs, next to the tree, you may eliminate another opponent. Eliminate your enemiesThe big house is the central and the most important location on this plantation. This way you will clean the foreground of the big building in the center of the plantation around which most of your enemies are grouped. You can stay here for a moment to observe them. Your next task is to eliminate all of them. Try to memorize their patterns to get the information where you can safely shoot them down and avoid being noticed at the same time. You also may disarm two alarms because it will significantly reduce the amount of enemies if you will be noticed. Completing this mission while being stealth is a lot easier and will allow you to save your ammunition, grenades and healing syringes. All these things will be very useful in the next stage of this mission. Turning on the water drenchers will allow you to save the field if it will start burning. If you will decide to use the brutal force you need to remember that the fields can't burn down. You need to reasonably use your grenades and Molotov cocktails and also you have to avoid damaging the explosive barrels. You can use the water drenchers to save a burning field. There are four fields and you need to use the drencher on a specific field to put out the fire. Try to also stay out from the battle dogs which are on the loose. You can find three of these beasts in total and if they will notice you they will almost instantly jump on you. Defend the fieldsTry to save the burning fields as fast as you can. When you will send to Amita the information about taking over the factory you need to fill your ammo fast and regroup in the place marked on your map. Your next job is to defend the plantation from four waves of the enemy soldiers. Don't count on your allies since they will die almost immediately. Listen to the messages which will inform you from where you can expect the incoming wave and try to prepare yourself in a right spot as fast as you can. At first you have to eliminate the enemies who throw the Molotov cocktails both in your direction and on the fields. If the field will start burning you will be informed about this and you need to run towards it and find out the generator which turns on the water drencher. Remember that one field may be arson even few times. To succeed you have to survive all waves with the saved fields they can be slightly damaged. Let us know in the comments below! Who cares ? Barbiatch, tu connais Fallout New Vegas? "The one and only time I walked into this place, I came in a sane man and came out… like this."Spoiler WarningPlot and/or ending details for Far Cry 4 follow!Read at your own risk!  The right choice was obvious brother. It's what your father would have done. That's the Golden Path, that's the direction we were going before Mohan died, that's why I stepped up. Because I knew your father, and I respected his vision. » Sabal to Ajay  Sabal is a southern Kyrati and the other head of the lumbering elephant that is the Golden Path; he pulls one way while Amita pulls the other, threatening to tear Kyrat apart in the process. Information leading to his capture will be rewarded handsomely. » King Min's Kyrat Sabal is one of the deuteragonists of Far Cry 4. Along with Amita, he is one of the leaders of the Golden Path. Unlike Amita, who wishes to modernize the people of Kyrat, he is more interested with preserving Kyrati traditions and continuing with the ways of old. He is one of two hidden true main antagonists of Far Cry 4, along with Amita. Background Sabal grew up in an era of a broken Golden Path. The great Mohan Ghale died when Sabal was a child and the young man grew up idolizing the rebel leader’s legacy. When he was old enough he set about trying to recreate the era when the Golden Path was a real threat to Pagan Min. Sabal is a traditionalist. He sees great value in his heritage, race, culture, history and legacy and believes that Kyrat needs the stability of traditions to bring peace to its people. Sabal often seeks moral guidance from the religious texts and teachings of Kyra. He is also smart enough to know how to use religion as a political tool. These views are in direct conflict with Amita's world view. As such, he’s personally invested in seeing Bhadra installed as the next Tarun Matara. He sees the practice as sacred and truly believes that the tradition brings protection from evil while ensuring good luck and prosperity. If Sabal can be the one to crown Bhadra as Tarun Matara, it will be the rallying cry for the future of Kyrat as a spiritual place, isolated from outsiders, and seal Sabal’s role as leader.[1] The previous Golden Path leader Mohan Ghale didn't let women join despite the Tarun Matara Ishwari Ghale demanded otherwise. When both Mohan and Ishwari are gone that left Golden Path leaderless, Sabal and Amita stepped in, they changed the rule and let women join, thus revived the Golden Path dwindling strength. Sabal's idol, Mohan Ghale, married Ishwari Ghale in 1981, even though she was born in 1968, which means she was only 13 year old at her wedding. Worse, their marriage was arranged and approved by her parents, and the religious leaders of Jalendu Temple paid her dowry. The village elders only warned against this because they regarded marrying the Tarun Matara as bringing 'bad luck', not because of her age. Amita parents also followed this approach and wanted Amita to get married at 6 year old. Sabal still idolize Mohan nevertheless and wish to maintain Tarun Matara practice, which further divide the Golden Path. Far Cry 4 Sabal hears that Ajay Ghale is returning to Kyrat and sends Darpan, one of his best soldiers, to protect Ajay from the Royal Army, but both are captured and taken to De Pleur's Compound. Sabal then leads with a rescue team to the compound and manages to rescue only Ajay since Darpan was trapped in De Pleur's torture room. Amita is furious when she learns that they sacrificed Darpan for Ajay, but Sabal is confident that the son of Mohan Ghale was worth the dangerous rescue mission. After this mildly heated conversation, Ajay kills some wolves for Amita. He goes to talk with Sabal, who says the local bell tower is broadcasting propaganda and that it is a dangerous climb to the top. Ajay offers to help and liberates the first bell tower. After that the player can choose to support either Sabal or Amita as leaders of the Golden Path. Fate  You think she can fix Kyrat? How? Drug fields as far as the eye can see? Suicide nets in factory towns where men, women, and children are free to be poor? It's a land of equal opportunity where everyone's a slave. » Sabal, condemning Amita's vision for Kyrat Player determined If the player sides with Amita In the mission To Reap What You Sow, if Amita is selected to lead the Golden Path, she will order Ajay to kill Sabal, arguing that by splitting the Golden Path, he will inevitably create another civil war and betray Ajay for siding with her. Upon arriving at Sabal's hideout and dispatching his followers, Ajay walks into the house and confronts Sabal, who is performing some sort of ritual at his desk. Sabal asks Ajay whether Amita ordered him to kill him or if he volunteered, and questions if he truly understands the ramifications of siding with her. Sabal tells Ajay he shitted on everything his father built. Sabal is doubtful Amita will fix Kyrat and assures Ajay that Amita will turn Kyrat into a totalitarian drug state where the people of Kyrat are systematically impoverished and oppressed. Sabal then asks Ajay if that is the Kyrat his mother wanted her ashes to be scattered in. Sabal then closes his eyes and tells Ajay to make his choice. If the player decides to shoot Sabal, Ajay shoots Sabal in the head. If the player decides not to shoot Sabal, Ajay tells him to go. Sabal takes his Kukri and drops it on the ground, telling Ajay "Gone, brother, gone." Regardless of the choice here against Sabal, Amita steps into power. If the player sides with Sabal In the mission To Reap What You Sow, if Sabal is selected to lead the Golden Path, he will order Ajay to kill Amita, arguing that she is "just another Pagan" and has no respect for her heritage. Upon arriving at Amita's hideout and dispatching her followers, Ajay walks into the house and confronts Amita, who was typing some documents on a typewriter, her purpose of doing so unknown. Amita is surprised that Sabal sent Ajay to do the job, and Ajay, out of frustration, tells Amita that no one else pulls the trigger for the Golden Path. Amita assures Ajay that Sabal hides behind his blind faith and tradition, and that she is surprised by how he can follow along like one of his puppets. Amita then tells Ajay that she really believed him when he told her that he only wanted to fulfill Ishwari's dying wish. After mocking that Ajay is the son of Mohan and that he will be the sole savior of Kyrat, Amita tells him to follow through with his orders and pull the trigger, sarcastically claiming that it is the will of Kyra. If the player decides to shoot Amita, she picks up the folder with her documents and slumps back on the chair, and after a few moments, she drops the folder and succumbs to the wound. If the player decides not to shoot Amita, she picks up her folder and walks away in anger, telling Ajay that while he is saving her life, he is killing Kyrat. Regardless of the choice here against Amita, Sabal steps into power. Revelations from Pagan Min on Sabal's leadership In the mission, Confront Pagan, after storming the Royal Palace, and if the player spares Pagan, Ajay will sit down across from him to eat some food he had prepared for his arrival to the palace. Ajay will just angirly stare at him as they dine together. As Pagan eats, he will then ask Ajay if he had already killed either Amita or Sabal; but will then give the answer that he already knows who he killed and who he didn't kill meaning he knows for certain if one of them is already dead or just out of power. Pagan Min then says to Ajay that whomever of the two is left alive and in power, that he's just giving away his country to them; since he intended to pass down the crown of Kyrat's monarchy to Ajay as the new leader underlying the fact that both Amita and Sabal are unfit to leading the country. He then suggests to Ajay that he could take back his power if he wanted to, saying to him, "You're half way there. One down, one to go. Not that I want to put ideas into your head. But at least now we know you have a taste for doing what it takes." [Bluntly implying to Ajay that it would be best to kill whoever is still alive and in power meaning Sabal after the ashes are spread]. Pagan Min basically implies to Ajay here that Sabal isn't fit to lead, that he would be better off leading Kyrat. After implying this, Min takes Ajay to see Lakshmana's shrine and place his mother's urn beside her's. Once he does this, Pagan flees Kyrat via helicopter, telling Ajay he can have Kyrat and he can take it back from Ameta but he's keeping the helicopter. Ajay can choose to kill Pagan right here and do what Sabal and the other members of the Golden Path want, or let him go peacefully. If Ajay kills Pagan as he eats at the table If the player doesn't choose to sit down and kills Pagan as he is eating, the message will appear that "The King is Dead". Later on, Ajay will call Sabal if the player chose to keep him alive and in power, to inform him that Pagan is dead. Sabal will ask him if he "found Lakshmana". Ajay will respond that he doesn't know what that means, but it isn't important. Sabal will answer that all that matters is that Kyrat is free from Pagan's tyrannical reign and that's all that matters. He even says it's time to celebrate like Mohan would have wanted to. The Outcome if Sabal is the leader After the end of the game, if Sabal was chosen to lead the Golden Path, there is a secret cutscene featuring him in Jalendu Temple. Sabal proceeds to have his followers execute former members of the Golden Path who sided with Amita or who he believes are guilty of such crimes and those who may not have been members of the Golden Path at all, but just innocent bystanders who weren't able to fight on their side for logical reasons. When Ajay confronts him, he claims that Bhadra is Tarun Matara now and will eventually understand that "sins can only be washed away with blood." Sabal claims that there must be a cleansing for Kyrat to move forward meaning pushing for mass genocide against all the Kyrati people who don't follow the mindset of the Golden Path. It also implies that he has plans to kill those who supported Pagan Min and the Royal Army during the Civil War and even those who didn't choose to fight for any cause of rebellion before pushing Ajay away. This demonstrates that his vision for Kyrat's future is tied with a religious fervor to seek vengeance against those whom he sees as having betrayed Kyrat, its traditions and Gods under the basis of establishing the Golden Path as a theocracy of fanatical religious extremists to purge out all whom Sabal considers as an "enemy" to the Gods in Kyrat and to the Golden Path. Ajay then has one last choice to leave Sabal alone as the new leader, or shoot him and kill him. Neither choice has any affect on future gameplay, aside from the rebels and ONLY these rebels on this island, which will become permanently hostile, whether or not you were detected if you kill Sabal. Karma will go down by 50 for every rebel you kill. If Ajay shoots him and kills him, it may be interpreted that if he didn't shoot Pagan Min at the dinner table, Ajay does take back what's rightfully his, and takes back the power from Sabal's corruption to become Kyrat's newest leader proving Pagan Min's words as truthful. The Alternate Starting Route If Ajay stays with Pagan Min and Paul "De Pleur" Harmon from the start, it's unknown how would Sabal and the rest of the Golden Path react when Pagan Min named Ajay his heir, as Ajay is the son of their very founders, Mohan Ghale and Ishwari Ghale. It's also unknown how Sabal rescue operation at De Pleur's Compound would turn out in this case. In theory, it can be assumed that the Golden Path just dies off and loses the war since their motivation to the cause meaning Ajay isn't helping to guide them to victory. Personality and Traits Sabal is a quiet and thoughtful man, he is very religious and believes that for a country to be stable, must have culture. To many, it seems that he just has traditionalist beliefs for Kyrat, and only wants what's best for the country and the people. Sabal can convince people through conversation and this can make him a wolf in sheep's clothing to some, or a great leader to others. His true darker side, however, does gradually start to show itself at the very end, and the whole idea of him being just quiet yet composed does fall apart. Trivia One of the bomb disposal quests takes place at Jalendu and if this mission is undertaken after completing the campaign, Sabal and the rebels will be killed by the Royal Army soldiers/guards that spawn for the quest. If Sabal is fought after the end of the game, he has noticeably more health than other Golden Path members, being roughly as durable as a Royal Guard Defender and requiring several shots to bring down. Unlike the other Golden Path rebels, Sabal will not be provoked by you throwing rocks at him, or shooting near him. He is however, capable of fighting and killing royal army soldiers, as he will shoot any patrol boats that come near the temple. Strangely, he will also not attack you with the other rebels, should you provoke them, making it almost impossible to perform a takedown on him. You have to be fast with a knife to do it. If you side with Amita, you can find him a little north of Utkarsh near Lake Visalakhutta, at X Y He is meditating near a tent. He behaves as a regular NPC and you cannot interact with him. Oddly, this also happens when you shoot him in the mission. Sabal is left-handed, as witnessed when his in-game model starts shooting with a pistol. He is voiced by Naveen Andrews, who is best known for playing Sayid Jarrah in the TV series Lost. Strangely, Sabal's name comes from a plant named Sabal Palmetto or Sabal Plam this particular plant is quite popular in the United States this could be an oversight or a coincidence. When viewed closely on Sabal's jacket, you could see a silver medal shaped like a Crown. Pagan Min and the Royal Army has this as an logo which can be found at the Royal Fortress and the pre-order travel journal. It's unknown if he did join the Royal Army and it's never explained why it's there. Before being used by Pagan Min regime, the crown symbol may have been used by Kyrat monarchy since the days Kyrat was under British Empire, hence the Western style. Sabal openly wearing the symbol may implies that he swears to restore it original meaning, which was distorted and appropriated by Pagan Min regime.
